Yearly Student Competition

We normally have annual competitions in Essay writing, Case study writing and Photography competitions.

  • International Travel Writing Competition

    This essay competition reinforces the GTTP’s emphasis on developing an individual student’s research, writing and photographic skills. Students compete for national and international cash prizes.

  • GTTP Digital Photo Competition: “Something Special”.

    The goal of the Digital Photo competition is to show a special aspect of a student’s community or place to people who have never been there. The photo should draw the interest of the viewer to want to visit. Photographs could be of a historic building; a natural feature, such as a lake or mountain; an event, such as a procession; a local specialty, such as food; an activity or sport; a person or a group of people.

  • GTTP Case Study Competition

    This competition requires student teams to research a Travel & Tourism opportunity or issue in their local or national context. The winning school in each country sends a team to the GTTP International Student-Teacher Conference held each year in a different country. This competition is sponsored by the GTTP‚ Global Partners and the Aldo Papone Endowment.

  • The essay competition

    Reinforces the GTTP’s emphasis on encouraging research and communications skills. It helps in developing an individual student‚ research, writing and photographic skills Students compete for national cash prizes. The competition is sponsored by the GTTP’s Global partners.

REPORT ON G.T.T.P CLUB

This club was officially launched in Makini Academy in January 2009.The vision of the club is to promote tourism among club members ,members of the community and conserve the environment. Currently the club has thirty active members. Since its inauguration, the club has undertaken a number of activities.

MAKINI ACADEMY Overview On The Club, This club incepted on the 23rd of September 2010 with forty four committed members. The club has engaged in various projects. The vision of the club is to promote tourism and conserve our environment. During mid-term break between 9th and 13th of October we members conducted a field study base on Hotel Survey where we visited hotels
